Dynamic Coalitions (DCs) on Internet and Jobs (DC-Jobs)

The DC will do a global survey through social media or other platforms to get public responses on the Internet & Jobs from July 10th, 2020. The report writing and data analysis would be completed by October 30th, 2020. DC plans to launch this report at IGF 2020. The DC plans to host online webinars on ‘Leveraging the Potential of the Internet for Jobs – the way forward.’ It also plans to partner with other Dynamic Coalitions and organizations across geographies. DC will work on best practices and knowledge papers with policymakers for an enabling ecosystem for facilitating local economies, leveraging the potential of Digital Technologies.

DC Chair and volunteers would also write columns to create awareness about the potential of the internet to create livelihoods. ‘We wish to lead the way for how to leverage the potential of internet for creating a vibrant global digital economy which can support local communities across the globe, and post-COVID, this is all the more important’ says Prof. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, Chair of the Dynamic Coalition on ‘Internet & Jobs’.
