The Ninth Annual Meeting of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2014) took place on 2-5 September 2014, in Istanbul, Turkey. The meeting was attended by 2403 onsite participants, from 144 countries, and representing all stakeholder groups and regions.
1291 remote participants joined the meeting through the remote participation platform. There were 60 remote hubs organised around the world, with an estimated number of 1852 attendees.
