    Interventions

As described in the previous question, nominated speakers will speak on various angles of the issue of "Employment & Career Paths in Internet Governance". This will look to stimulate other participants in bringing forward further perspectives on the issue once.

    Diversity

We anticipate this session to be of particular interest to youth. Diverse groups which are underrepresented in employment at organisations dealing with Internet governance related matters will also find this session to be worth participating in.

Nominated speakers will speak briefly on various angles of the issue before the roundtable being open to all for discussion on various topics surrounding the issue. The agenda may include the following.

    1. Education and skill development in Internet Governance
    2. Job seeking in the Internet Governance space
    3. Hiring talent in the Internet Governance Space
    4. Converting volunteer experience and exposure to employment in Internet Governance
    5. Entrepreneurship in Internet Governance

There will be one chair who will mostly be in introducing other nominated speakers who will then speak briefly on the perspective they represent. With each speaker (3 or 4) taking 5 to 10 mins speaking, this will leave up to 55 minutes or more of a 90 mins session for participant engagement as this is a roundtable.

This topic, although crosscutting through other issues aligns most with "Broadening Participation & Capacity Building". What are some of the avenues where many capacity development activities can take someone in the Internet Governance. This is one area where the IGF can effectively enhance stakeholders' understanding of Internet Governance Issues as individuals with developed skills set and knowledge in the space are employed in various sectors.

    Online Participation

We are in favour of the suggested model in the online attendees will have a separate queue and microphone, which will rotate equally with the mics in the room; the workshop moderator will have the online participation session open, and will be in close communication with the workshop’s trained online moderator, to make any adaptations necessary as they arise.
