Remote Participation 2012

If you are not able to attend the next IGF in Baku, Azerbaijan, you can follow it remotely! Remote participation, and specifically the hubs structure, has been successful in previous IGFs. This time again you can follow the discussions from home or office; watch the webcast of the event; follow real-time closed captioning ; and participate live. Or you can also expand the discussions and organize an IGF hub in your city!

Remote participants/hubs will be able to interact with the meeting by sending text questions and/or video/audio interventions using the remote participation platform (Webex). These questions will be forwarded to the panel moderator when s/he opens the floor for questions from the audience.

For more details on how to organize a Hub and/or register your hub check the hubs instructions.

Trainings for Remote Panellists and Remote Hubs coordinators are/will be scheduled during the month of October 2012 here.

The links to access each meeting room will be provided one day before the IGF.

All Main sessions, workshops, Dynamic Coalitions, Open Fora, Side Sessions and Pre-events will have webcast, captionning and remote participation (Some workshop organizers asked for some sessions not to have remote participation)

Remote participants/hubs should take a look at the IGF schedule on the home page to see the room and the time of the sessions they would like to follow.
