This year the IGF 2012 Workshop Proposal form has been updated with new features that will allow an easy access and submission of proposals.
For an easy and quick workshop proposal please follow these steps:
Step 1: Accessing the links
To start with, please look for the Workshop link which is under the "2012 IGF: Baku" block on the left side column. By clicking on the "Workshop" link you will get the sub-links related to the 2012 IGF Workshop Proposals that will allow you to perform activities like registration, login, submitting workshop proposals and managing your workshop proposals (like doing updates and editing).
Note that you have to login to access any of the sub-links under Workshops.
Step 2: Registering your account
Clicking on Login/Register will take you to the page where to begin with you will have to "Create new account" by clicking on the tab as shown in the image. Fill in the fileds with your corresponding details and click on the button below the form to submit. Once completed you will receive a confirmation email and you will be taken to the IGF 2012 Workshop Proposal form.
Step 3 : Submitting the IGF 2012 Workshop Proposal
When the Workshop Proposal form is loaded at first the four main sections are collapsed so in order to open those you have to click on them, then the form will look as shown below.
Step 4: Mandatory fields & Tool-tips
- Mandatory fields: As shown in the above screenshot, all the fields marked with * are mandatory fields for which you have to provide details otherwise you will not be able to submit the workshop proposal.
- Tool-tips: the blue circle that you see in the above image represents the 'tool-tips' sign. By hovering your pointer over it a you will see a window appearing with useful tips that will help you in understanding the
